Guidance in the 21st Century
In order for a child to be labeled a Juvenile Offender, it would begin at the age of fourteen in order to be tried in court as a adult. This is the case across the United States in almost every legal system for Juveniles (Juvenile Offenders, 2015). However, the juvenile courts in America were put in place to handle the inner-city problems that come about. Detentions for adolescents, and reform schools were created for rehabilitating Juvenile offenders. On the other hand, it is believed that attitude and behavior problems exist in children as young as two years old. The peer pressure that young people face in neighborhoods and schools raises a standard of bad behavior (Juvenile Offenders, 2015).
It is of a great importance that your son has great guidance in his life in order to be successful in life. Age has nothing to do with a man, because he can be a boy all of his life. Our mission is to empower at-risk boys so they can later come into manhood with much poise. You may say that your child is not at-risk, but I beg to differ, because even though he is not causing any kind of trouble in the home or in the school house, we believe that every child is at- risk to a certain degree, because good boys still need guidance especially with a male figure in his life.
